Hi ... am just wondering if running pairs scores will be available...
Do you have any inside information as to why Austria chose Monaco as their opponent? Please, ignore if the question seems inappropriate.
At the point when Austria had to decide, they had a choice between USA and Monaco. If you watch the video of the captain's meeting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GyvWEluxlw) you will see that when the director asked Austria to pick up a team between them everybody laughed because they were between a rock and a hard place...
why was Per Jannersten sitting behind the table by the WBF-congres?
Can we see the datams from qualifying?
You can access datams for individual matches via the championships web site: http://www.worldbridge.org/repository/tourn/wroclaw.16/Microsite/Results.htm You can also see datams for each board across the various fields. Butler scores are also available.
England's margin over New Zealand was indeed as small as it could be, but I see that New Zealand were fined half a VP. Other teams were fined as well, .5, .75, 1, up as high as 6 VPs. What are these typically for? Late arrival or slow play? Or something dramatic, like diving in the penalty area, breaking your bidding box in anger, or insulting the Director?
We submit your question to one of our Experts. We've been told that half a VP is usually slow play. The fine for slow play can be up to 1 VP according to responsibilities of the two lines. 6 VPs is late arrival at the table.
